MI Paste
Purpose
MI Paste can help condition, protect and rebuild teeth’s surface.
Description
MI Paste is a sugar-free cream that when applied directly to teeth, it can help condition, protect and rebuild teeth’s surface. MI
Paste uses calcium and phosphate to replenish these minerals in your teeth and strengthen them. MI Paste restores the oral
mineral imbalances, improves saliva flow and fluoride absorption, and soothes sensitive surfaces. Dentists have seen success
using MI Paste for dry mouth caused by certain medications, reduction of high oral acid levels from excessive soft-drink
consumption (although the best treatment is to avoid consumption of soda drinks) and prevention of white spot lesions.
Ask your dentist if MI Paste would help your oral health. If prescribed, your dentist will explain how MI Paste should be used. In
most cases, after brushing with fluoride toothpaste a pea-sized dab of MI Paste is rubbed over teeth surfaces with your finger or
cotton swab. Again, it is important to consult with your dentist to determine whether you need this intervention and how it
should be used for your specific needs.
Tips
MI Paste is the only product that contains the ingredient RECALDENT TM, a special milk-derived phosphopeptide that binds
calcium and phosphate to tooth surfaces. Because RECLADENT TM is made from milk-derived proteins, it should not be used by
individuals who are allergic to milk. If you are prescribed MI Paste at your dentist’s office, make sure to inform them if you have
a milk allergy as this could cause a life-threatening allergic reaction.
