Clamp on Toilet Riser
Purpose
Toilet risers can help elevate the height of your toilet, making it easier to get on and off. Like bidets, there are several different kinds of toilet risers and which one is best for you will be determined by a variety of factors. Some things to consider:
- Do I want my toilet riser to be semi-permanent or easily removable?
- Do I need to use a bidet with my toilet riser?
- Do I need handles for additional assistance or will handles get in the way?
- What is the shape of my toilet bowl?
Description
Clamp on toilet risers are temporary toilet risers which are easy to install and don’t require the use of tools. The riser is attached to the toilet boil via the use of tension screws which firmly secure the toilet riser into place. This is an ideal toilet riser for people who are unable to make alterations to their home or share a bathroom with someone. A toilet mounted bidet cannot be used with a clamp on toilet riser. A hand held bidet or a portable bidet must be used.
Tips
If you are on the shorter side, a raised toilet seat might leave your feet floating in the air. This can be uncomfortable. Consider using an under toilet stool to rest your feet on. These stools are light and should never be used as a step to get onto or off of the toilet as they are prone to flip over.
