Vakly Patient Transfer Sheet
Purpose
Transfer sheets help move a person with limited mobility. They can be used for repositioning or turning in bed or to transfer to a different location in a supine position. They are made of thick fabric and have handles on the sides and top, so caregivers can safely hold on to the sheet during transfers. They could also be used for quick transport in the case of an emergency. This brand transfer sheet was recommended by FOP community member Jasmin Floyd.
Description
This transfer sheet is 80-inchs on the long side and a 40-inchs on the short side with 14 handles positioned throughout. The number of handles make it easier to transport a patient safety. There are 6 handles per side, and one on either end for leverage. The transfer sheet can hold up to 1500 lbs and is made from a fluid repellant material.
