Little Spoon

Purpose

FOP Community Member Julieta Sanchez Lopez “Juli”, who lives with FOP in Colombia, created this adapted, small spoon to be able to independently take her medication or consume small food items or candies. She says, “This little spoon helps when I want to eat small pieces like candies, chew gum, or take some drops/medication”.

How to make

Items Needed: Little Spoon, Adhesive Tape, Bamboo Stick or Wooden Dowel
Please Give Detailed Instructions On How To Make Your Tool
  • Bend the spoon to the desired angle
  • Secure it to the bamboo stick or wooden dowel with the adhesive tape
