Adapted Cutlery Spoon
Purpose
FOP Community Member Sil Aniceto and her brother Fabio created this adapted cutlery spoon because she was having difficulty eating with a normal spoon. This adapted spoon has allowed her to eat alone whenever she would like to eat. She says” Even though I have a disease that causes physical dependence in many ways, being able to eat alone is a rare happiness. In the small things we do, we give an importance that many do not see.
How to make
Items Needed: Spoon, Knife, Adhesive Tape
- Attach a normal spoon to the end of a large dessert knife.
- Connect the larger part of the knife to the bottom of the spoon with adhesive tape.
- Bend the spoon to desired angle.
