Faucet Extenders
Purpose
If installing a side-mounted faucet is not an option for you or is not yet needed, faucet extenders can be a great solution to more easily reach the water flowing from your sink faucet. Faucet extenders come in two main styles: swivel faucet extenders attach to the faucet by screwing onto the end. Most swivel-style faucets can be adjusted in multiple heights and positions. Low-tech faucet extenders are made of silicone and slide over the top of the faucet handle to create a funnel for the water. The funnel extends the angle at which the water comes out of the faucet, making it easier to reach.
Faucet extenders can also be paired with faucet handle extenders to increase a persons ability to reach the faucet handle to turn the water off and on. This can be a needed addition if you have motion sensors on your sink because some faucet extenders will block the sensor or reduce it’s ability to detect motion.
