Fork with Spoon
Purpose
Cristiane, who lives with FOP in Brazil, and her father created this combination fork with spoon. It is a large fork with a spoon at the tip. This creation has allowed her to eat snacks and breakfast alone. She says,” My hand no longer goes to my mouth on its own; this way, I can eat harder foods on one side—like bread or savory snacks—while on the other side, using a spoon, I can eat sweets, such as *brigadeiros*. It took two tries because the handle was too short; so I switched spoons, and it worked.”
How to make
Items Needed: Fork, Juice Spoon with an extended handle, Rivet.
- Take the spoon and the fork and insert the rivet to secure them
