Hand Held Shower Head Mount
Purpose
For individuals with limited arm mobility, it can be helpful to mount a holder lower in the shower to improve reach and functionality of the hand held shower head. This will also help make the shower work for every member of the household. Wall mounts can prevent falls/tripping over the hanging tubing from the shower head.
Description
Wall mounts come in several different types depending on how they attach to the wall. Some will need to be drilled into or glued onto your shower surface while others will attach with suction. Suction cup holders will not be as sturdy but are a great option for renters.
Tips
60 inches from the base of the shower is the recommended ADA height for wheelchair users or anyone who uses a shower chair.
