Homemade Makeup Brushes
Purpose
Assists with extending make-up brushes up to the face for application when neck and arm mobility is limited.
Description
Practically anything can be used to extend the reach of a tool. Here we have used a short foam hair curler for one of the brushes which is easy to grip and is bendable to achieve any angle you may need. The other handle is made from a barbeque skewer which is longer and more sturdy allowing for more pressure to be applied. Craft dowels come in many shapes and sizes and can be used to extend the each of just about everything!
Tips
Problem solving what you can use as an extension handle will be unique to each individual and what they have available. A pencil, a ruler, an old broom stick or even a back scratcher can be taped to a tool of choice to make the handle longer. Be creative and try making your own homemade tools!
