Purpose
Left-Foot Accelerators enable drivers to use their left foot for acceleration if they can’t use their right.

Description
A left-foot accelerator is an adaptive driving device designed for individuals who have limited or no use of their right leg. This modification allows the driver to operate the accelerator pedal with their left foot, providing a safe and comfortable alternative to traditional right-footed driving. Left-foot accelerators function by relocating the accelerator pedal to the left side of the brake pedal. There are two main types:
- Removable Left-Foot Accelerators – These attach to the vehicle’s existing pedals and can be easily removed when not in use, making them ideal for shared vehicles.
- Fixed Left-Foot Accelerators – These are permanently installed in the vehicle and provide a more stable and long-term solution for individuals who exclusively drive with their left foot.
