Lotus Ring

Purpose

The Lotus Ring is a wearable remote that lets you control your home’s lights, fan, and TV with a simple click of your finger. Worn on your index finger, it pairs with magnetic Lotus Switch Covers that snap over existing wall switches. The covers do not require any rewiring or Wi-Fi connection. Once set up, you just point your hand toward a switch cover and click the ring to toggle the light or fan on and off, or aim at your TV and double-click to power it. The system uses infrared (IR) signals, similar to a traditional remote, with a range of up to 30 feet as long as there’s line of sight. Both the ring and switch covers are rechargeable. There is a long battery life and the Lotus Ring can be used for up to 90 days.

This is an easy automated solution for those just beginning to explore automated home modifications and can easily be used in a rental home. The ring comes in 4 different sizes and 3 different colors. It is designed to work with both toggle and rocker style switches.
