Purpose
U shaped pillows (also known as pregnancy pillows) are great tools for sleeping and positioning in bed.
Description
U shaped pillows act like a wedge but avoid the need to bend at the waist (something many in the FOP community cannot do). The pillow allows for support at the head/neck, shoulders, and arms. This is especially helpful if your arms are fused and do not touch the mattress when you lie flat in bed.
How to make
Are you or someone you know good with a sewing machine? This type of pillow could easily be made using items from a local craft store. This link has a tutorial and a pattern to use!
