Victoria’s Victory
Purpose
Victoria’s Victory Foundation (VVF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals living with mobility-related disabilities—such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and other rare diseases. Driven by the philosophy “Face It. Embrace It. Defy It. Conquer It.”, VVF offers both financial assistance through its Victory Scholarship Program and personalized support via its Resource Navigation services, all aimed at helping individuals regain independence and access life-enhancing resources.
Description
Through the Victory Scholarship Program, Victoria’s Victory Foundation offers committee-approved financial assistance—typically ranging between $1,500 and $6,000—to support people with mobility disabilities in obtaining essential resources like activity-based training sessions, caregiver hours, mobility equipment, and home or vehicle modifications. Applicants must be U.S. citizens residing in the U.S., have a mobility disability stemming from injury or diagnosis, and request services or products located within the U.S.
To apply, individuals must submit a detailed application through the foundation’s online portal during designated funding cycles (cycle status is noted on the scholarship page), uploading required documentation including proof of household income (such as W-2s or SSI statements), a character reference, a photo, and a tailored letter of need—or a product quote—from credible providers. VVF processes all purchases directly with vendors and does not reimburse applicants or issue funds directly to them; late applications are not accepted, and applicants are advised to provide complete, specific information as changes post-approval can jeopardize funding.
